NJ Twins Jim Beaver is the 2011 Bridgeton Tournament Home Run Derby Champion. Beaver hit a total of 14 moon shots to capture the title.

Cecil County Braves are the 2011 BIT Champions

 

 

The 45th Annual Bridgeton Invitational Baseball Tournament will be played at Alden Field in the Bridgeton City Park from July 29th - August 15th. There will be nightly double-headers beginning at 6:30pm on weeknights and Saturday's starting at 5pm and 7pm. Sundays will not be reserved for rain-outs. Many special events are planned for the Tournament and the Tournament Committee will be honoring local athletes and other local citizens between games nightly. Fireworks will be on July 30th immediately after game two.

The tournament committee is extremely disappointed in tonights cancellations, since we anxiously anticipated the arrival of John Mayberry Jr. and Michael Stutes. Unfortunately they are unable to re-schedule because they will be busy playing baseball for the Phillies. We truly appreciate everyone’s support and hope to resume play on Tuesday August 16th. Thank you for your patience with mother nature.
